Panda Picnic Postponed

Dear East Silver Spring PTA community, This Friday's Panda Picnic is being postponed out of an abundance of caution over and support for the entire quarantined fifth grade and the second grade class that is also in quarantine. I hope you'll join me in sending warm and supportive thoughts to all impacted. This decision was a tough one and was made in weighing the strong cautionary advice given after speaking in consultation with ESS and MCPS administrators, several MCCPTA leaders, and an organization that specializes in COVID-19 testing and vaccinations in diverse communities. Rest assured, we will have community events that bring us safely together and help support our children. Please be on the lookout for a rescheduled date for the picnic. In the meantime, I wish all grace as we uplift and support our full community. Thank you!
