ESS Panda Clubs Fall 2025

What are Panda Clubs / Qué son los Panda Clubs? / ፓንዳ ክለቦች ምንድን ናቸው

After-school enrichment programs, held once a week for 6-8 weeks. Sessions held in fall, winter & spring. Students will be walked to their class, just pick them up afterwards!

Programas de enriquecimiento después de la escuela, que se realizan una vez a la semana durante 6 a 8 semanas. Las sesiones se llevan a cabo en otoño, invierno y primavera. Los estudiantes serán acompañados a su clase; ¡solo recójalos después!

ከትምህርት ቤት በኋላ ሳምንት አንድ ጊዜ ለ6–8 ሳምንት የሚካሄዱ ማሻሻያ ፕሮግራሞች ናቸው። ስብሰባዎቹ በበጎ ወቅት በገና ይካሄዳሉ፣ ተማሪዎች ወደ ክለባቸው ይወሰዳሉ፤ ከኋላ በቀላሉ ይሰበስቡት!

FALL 2025 CLUBS

GRADE K-2

MONDAY - Starts 10/6 No Class 10/20, 11/3, 11/24

Motion Commotion - $150 (Big Learning, 4-5pm, 8 weeks)

Explore natural energy to make paper clips levitate using magnetic power. Race static magic cans, test your balancing power with a gravity fighter; make things move with soap and water!

Explore la energía natural para hacer levitar sujetapapeles con el poder magnético. Corra latas mágicas de estática, ponga a prueba su equilibrio con un luchador de gravedad y haga que las cosas se muevan con agua y jabón.

Art Adventures - $160 (Create Arts, 4-5pm, 8 weeks)

Take a hands-on journey through the world of art. Explore new techniques & materials, pastels, textiles, collage, watercolor, and more.

Emprenda un viaje práctico por el mundo del arte. Explore nuevas técnicas y materiales: pasteles, telas, collage, acuarela y más.

በእጅ የሚሰራ ጉዞ ይውሰዱ ወደ የኪነ ጥበብ ዓለም። አዲስ ቴክኒኮችና መሳሪያዎችን ይፈትሹ፣ ፓስተል፣ ጨርቅ፣ ኮላዥ፣ ውሃ ቀለም እና ሌሎች።

Invisibilia - $150 (Big Learning, 4-5pm, 8 weeks)

Explore natural energy, investigate air, wind, water, gravity, magnetism, and static electricity. Observe a magnetic field, explore energy, study capillary action, and test static charges.

Explore la energía natural e investigue el aire, viento, agua, gravedad, magnetismo y electricidad estática. Observe campos magnéticos, explore la energía en acción, estudie la acción capilar y pruebe cargas estáticas.

This club welcomes all skill levels to explore and grow. Experiment with new materials to create works of art: drawing, painting, and 3D projects.

THURSDAY Starts 9/18

Soccer - $80 (1-Up-Handles, 4-5pm, 8 weeks) No Class 10/2

Panda Club Soccer will be an upbeat, fun class that teaches beginner to intermediate fundamentals such as: proper

Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Defensive Strategy and Field Spacing. Participants will be separated by grade & play mini games each class to enhance learning.

Clase divertida y animada que enseña habilidades de nivel principiante e intermedio: driblar, pasar, disparar, defensa y posicionamiento en el campo. Los participantes se separan por grado y juegan mini partidos en cada clase para reforzar el aprendizaje.

አስደሳች እና ደስታ ያለው ክፍል የመጀመሪያና መካከለኛ ክህሎቶችን ያስተምራል፡ ዳሪንግ, ማስተላለፊያ, መጣል, መከላከያ እና ቦታ ማስተካከያ። ተማሪዎች በደረጃ ይለያያሉ እና በእያንዳንዱ ክፍል ትንሽ ጨዋታዎችን ይጫወታሉ።

Cancellations/Refunds / Cancelaciones/Reembolsos / ስረዛ/ተመላሽ ገንዘብ

All refunds will be made via the vendor. There will be no refunds offered after the first week of programs.
Todos los reembolsos se realizarán a través del proveedor. No habrá reembolsos después de la primera semana.

Two late pick-ups may result in dismissal from the program without a refund. Vendors may charge a fee for late pickup.

Student Behavior / Comportamiento / የተማሪ ባህሪ

All students are expected to follow ESS school rules. Parents will be contacted if there is a problem that cannot be remedied in class. ESS PTA reserves the right to remove your student from a program.
Todos los estudiantes deben seguir las reglas de ESS. Se contactará a los padres si hay problemas graves. La PTA puede retirar a un estudiante del programa.

Provider Cancellations / Cancelaciones de proveedores / ሻጭ ስረዛዎች

The vendors will make every effort to reschedule classes canceled due to unexpected MCPS or ESS closings, but we cannot guarantee every class can be made up. The vendors cannot offer make-up classes or refunds due to a student’s inability to attend class.
Los proveedores intentarán reprogramar clases canceladas por cierres de MCPS o ESS, pero no garantizan recuperación. No hay reembolso por inasistencia del estudiante.
