What are Panda Clubs / Qué son los Panda Clubs? / ፓንዳ ክለቦች ምንድን ናቸው
After-school enrichment programs, held once a week for 6-8 weeks. Sessions held in fall, winter & spring. Students will be walked to their class, just pick them up afterwards!
Programas de enriquecimiento después de la escuela, que se realizan una vez a la semana durante 6 a 8 semanas. Las sesiones se llevan a cabo en otoño, invierno y primavera. Los estudiantes serán acompañados a su clase; ¡solo recójalos después!
ከትምህርት ቤት በኋላ ሳምንት አንድ ጊዜ ለ6–8 ሳምንት የሚካሄዱ ማሻሻያ ፕሮግራሞች ናቸው። ስብሰባዎቹ በበጎ ወቅት በገና ይካሄዳሉ፣ ተማሪዎች ወደ ክለባቸው ይወሰዳሉ፤ ከኋላ በቀላሉ ይሰበስቡት!

Please consider making a donation to the Panda Club Scholarship Fund. We are proud that in the past we have been able to provide a scholarship to every family who requested one. We hope to continue this tradition for each session of Panda Clubs this year and in the future. Donations can be made online or with a check or money order made payable to ESS PTA. MONDAY GRADES K-2 - Starts 4/20
Dive Into Dimensions - $105
(Big Learning, 4-5pm, 7 weeks)
Dive into the world of engineering! Build the strongest bridge and a tall tower, work with simple machines, and balance on a zip line.
¡Sumérgete en el mundo de la ingeniería! Construye el puente más fuerte y una torre alta, trabaja con máquinas simples y equilibra en una tirolesa.

MONDAY GRADES 3-5 - Starts 4/20
Eco KID - $105
(Big Learning, 4-5pm, 7 weeks)
Young ecologists discover sustainability, extinction, and biodiversity. Create habitats & learn plant and animal life cycles.
Jóvenes ecologistas descubren sostenibilidad, extinción y biodiversidad. Crean hábitats y aprenden ciclos de vida de plantas y animales.

TUESDAY ALL GRADES - Starts 4/21
Chess - $170
(Silver Knights Chess, 4-5pm, 8 weeks)
Join ESS’s chess club - all skill levels! Weekly lessons and practice games, plus free online extras and a ChessKid membership. All supplies provided.

Hands-on activities like painting, drawing, building, sculpting, & more. A journey through the world of art, discovering inspiring artists along the way.
Actividades prácticas como pintar, dibujar, construir, esculpir y más. Un viaje por el mundo del arte, descubriendo artistas inspiradores en el camino.

Soccer - $80
(1-Up Handles, 4-5pm, 8 weeks)
Panda Club Soccer is a fun, upbeat class teaching beginner-to-intermediate fundamentals – dribbling, passing, shooting & defense, and field spacing.
Panda Club Soccer es una clase alegre y divertida que enseña fundamentos de nivel principiante a intermedio: driblar, pasar, disparar, y defensa.
Panda Club Soccer ክፍል አዝናኝ እና ንቁ ሲሆን ከጀማሪ እስከ መካከለኛ ደረጃ መሠረታዊ ክህሎቶች – ድሪብሊንግ፣ ማለፍ፣ መመታት፣ መከላከያ እና በመስክ ላይ አቀማመጥ – ያስተምራል። ተሳታፊዎች በየትምህርት ክፍል ይለያያሉ እና በእያንዳንዱ ክፍል ሚኒ ጨዋታዎችን ይጫወታሉ።
FRIDAY ALL GRADES - Starts 4/10
Ballet - FREE
(Maryland Youth Ballet, 4-5pm, 9 weeks)
Learn the basics of classical ballet for free! All children grades 1 & 2 are welcome. Dancewear is required and provided for free.
Aprende gratis los básicos del ballet clásico. Niños 1.º y 2.º grado son bienvenidos. Vestimenta de danza incluida.

All refunds will be made via the vendor. There will be no refunds offered after the first week of programs.

Two late pick-ups may result in dismissal from the program without a refund. Vendors may charge a fee for late pickup.

Student Behavior / Comportamiento / የተማሪ ባህሪ

All students are expected to follow ESS school rules. Parents will be contacted if there is a problem that cannot be remedied in class. ESS PTA reserves the right to remove your student from a program.

Provider Cancellations / Cancelaciones de proveedores / ሻጭ ስረዛዎች

The vendors will make every effort to reschedule classes canceled due to unexpected MCPS or ESS closings, but we cannot guarantee every class can be made up. The vendors cannot offer make-up classes or refunds due to a student’s inability to attend class.

Los proveedores intentarán reprogramar clases canceladas por cierres de MCPS o ESS, pero no garantizan recuperación. No hay reembolso por inasistencia del estudiante.
