Why should you become a monthly donor?
The East Silver Spring Elementary School PTA does BIG THINGS! We help support after school enrichment programs (Panda Clubs), we help fund field trips, we book assembly speakers, we organize the book fair, STEM night, reading night, International Night, and more. Most importantly, we act as your voice to ensure our children have what they need to thrive.

We do A LOT, and we want to be able to do even more. But to do so, we need dedicated, and committed support in helping achieve those goals. Becoming a monthly donor means we can take on even more ambitious projects like funding every Panda Club scholarship that is requested, providing students who need it with school supplies, and assisting students with STEM projects and the educational materials they need to be successful.
WHAT WE DO
The PTA is “Building A More Inclusive Community” by hosting mobile town hall-style meetings in the neighborhoods where our families live, offering increased translation in Amharic and Spanish, offering diversity, equity and inclusion training, launching a Parent Advisory Committee on Race and Equity, and advocating for and helping support all students returning to in person school in a healthy, safe, and equitable manner.
