Free and Reduced Meals (FARMS)
What: MCPS offers healthy school meals every day. All children in MCPS will receive meals at no charge during the 2021-22 school year. We encourage eligible parents/guardians to still fill out the online application for free and reduced priced meal service (FARMS).
Students may qualify for free or reduced lunch meals based on household size and income. Families can apply for benefits with one online application in 15-30 minutes. Enrollment is confidential.
A new application must be submitted each school year. You and your children do not need to be U.S. citizens to qualify.

Why: Qualifying for FARMS could help your family qualify for other benefits. Families may apply for free or reduced lunches any time, but applying now may help the school get funding. Some school funding is based on applications received at the beginning of the school year.

After you enter the school zip code 20910 and select Montgomery County Public Schools, the “Language” button at the top of the screen will provide options for your preferred language.
